Job summary

Tillster is seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst in Los Angeles to own end-to-end analytics for assigned business areas and to build scalable dashboards. The role emphasizes proactive insight sharing, collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Finance, and developing Looker/LookML solutions for non-technical users.

You will work with GA4, data warehouses, and cloud platforms, advancing toward senior responsibilities while mentoring juniors and improving data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of data analytics or BI experience.
• Strong SQL skills including window functions and CTEs.
• 2+ years of hands-on Looker/LookML development.
• Experience with data warehouses (Redshift/BigQuery).
• Experience building dashboards for non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Git, PR reviews, and agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end analytics for assigned business areas with minimal guidance.
• Support ad-hoc analyses for Marketing, Product, Finance, and Account Management with interpretation.
• Surface trends and insights to stakeholders proactively.
• Support A/B tests including data prep and metric tracking, aiming for independent design.
