Job summary

Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) data office seeks a skilled data analyst to collate, organize, analyze, and report performance metrics for strategic decisions. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• One year of experience with SQL, Athena AWS, QLIK or Quicksight.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, Zoho Analytics).
• Translate raw data into actionable information for strategic decisions and program evaluations.
• Coordinate data extraction from multiple state systems and ensure timely delivery.
• Share data insights with program partners and stakeholders as needed.
• Respond to critical data requests from DHS leadership and external offices.
