Job summary

Hanson Lee Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Digital and Technology team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on building and maintaining ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory and delivering analytics and dashboards using Qlik.

You will work closely with underwriters, finance, sales and operations to derive data-driven insights, perform data quality work, and support automation through Function Apps and Logic Apps.

Qualifications

• Solid hands on SQL Server and Azure Data Factory experience in a live production environment.
• Comfort with Qlik or a similar BI tool.
• Insurance industry background, ideally with exposure to commercial insurance, policy lifecycle, BDX production or premium calculations.
• A genuinely flexible mindset. Priorities here can shift from one day to the next, and you’ll need to be just as happy deep in a pipeline as you are in a stakeholder meeting.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory, including linked services, data flows and scheduling
• Writing and optimising SQL against SQL Server to support reporting and transformation
• Delivering dashboards and analytics in Qlik that actually get used
• Supporting Function Apps and Logic Apps for automation and integration
• Triaging data incidents, digging into root causes and working with the technical team to fix them
• Running requirements workshops and turning business questions into data solutions
