MCT PathAI in Bothell, WA (Hybrid) or Remote (US) is looking for a Data Analyst to turn 5,000+ daily job postings into actionable insights.

You will own analytics for the scraper, match quality, user funnel, and retention, working with the founder and product team to shape the product. The role requires strong SQL and Python skills, dashboard experience, and comfort with semi-structured data.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a data analyst or analytics engineer role.
• Expert SQL — Postgres optimization and window functions.
• Python for data work — Pandas, Jupyter.
• Built and shipped dashboards used by stakeholders.
• Comfort with semi-structured data (JSON payloads).
• Strong written communication; explain findings to non-technical founders.
• Nice to have Supabase / Postgres as data warehouse.
• Nice to have dbt or data transformation framework.
• Nice to have familiarity with recruiting/HR-tech data.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics layer: dashboards for scraper health, match quality, user funnel, and retention.
• Run deep-dive analyses on resume-to-job matching performance and recommend model or product changes.
• Monitor the daily 7AM PDT pipeline, flag anomalies, and build data-quality checks.
• Partner with engineering on instrumentation — define the events, metrics, and schemas we need.
• Translate messy scraped data into clean, queryable tables.
• Build self-serve reporting so the team stops asking you for one-off pulls.
• Support GTM with cohort analysis, conversion metrics, and beta-user insights.
