Job summary

Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting seeks a highly analytical Data Analyst with 4–6 years of experience to transform complex data into actionable business insights. The role involves extracting data from Excel, PDFs, and internal systems, using SQL and Snowflake to clean and structure data, and leveraging Claude Code to accelerate prep, analysis, and reporting.

The position is based in Minneapolis with five days onsite.

Qualifications

4–6 years in data analytics, BI, or related field.
Advanced Excel: complex formulas, lookups, PivotTables, large datasets.
Strong SQL: queries, transformations, analytical datasets.
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
Experience using AI tools to automate data tasks (Claude Code, etc.).
Experience creating dashboards with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

Extract, organize, and validate data from multiple sources (Excel, PDFs, databases).
Clean, standardize, transform, and aggregate datasets for accuracy.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models.
Leverage AI tools to streamline data workflows and reporting.
Analyze datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities for decisions.
Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
Partner with business teams to gather requirements and define metrics.
Support data quality, governance, and documentation.
