Job summary

Synchron, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Navy's OPNAV PPBE process. You will coordinate stakeholders, develop briefings, and visualize and analyze data at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field, 2+ years of DoD data analysis experience, advanced MS Excel skills, and a DoD Secret clearance. Some telework may be considered based on workload and circumstances, with travel under 5%.

Job description

Synchron is seeking a qualified candidate to support the Navy's OPNAV N9 Division. The Data Analyst will assist the program with responsibilities inherent within the OPNAV PPBE process. You will coordinate stakeholders, develop briefings, and visualize and analyze data.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in mathematics or related fields.
• Experience with data analysis in the DoD environment.
• At least two years of professional experience.
• Advanced level proficiency with MS Excel is a requirement. Basic level proficiency with Python is also required.
• Demonstrated experience briefing senior leadership.
• Active DoD Secret level clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Navy, OPNAV, and PPBE experience is desired

Work Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Routine Telework is not allowed for this position; Situational Telework may be granted dependent on workload and circumstances.

Travel: Less than 5%
