Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Data Analyst to turn data into measurable outcomes for government customers. You will process acoustic data from submarine sensors and analyze it to support mission requirements, collaborating with the US Navy and private industry teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of related experience, knowledge of data analytics and statistics, and a SECRET clearance; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science requirement.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Data Analytics and Statistics experience; knowledge of US Navy submarines and/or acoustics/sensors; familiarity with React and Kubernetes.
• Security clearance level: SECRET.
• US citizenship required.
• Role requires excellent written and verbal communication; work will be at a government site.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze acoustic data from submarine sensors to support mission requirements.
• Assist in acoustic data reduction, processing, analysis and report generation for national security matters.
• Collaborate with US Navy, government representatives, and private industry teammates.
• Use data-driven recommendations to guide future processing system enhancements.
