Job summary

The New York Office for People with Developmental Disabilities in Schenectady is seeking a Data Analyst 1 to support the Division of Quality Improvement. You will perform structured data analysis, extract datasets from enterprise systems, and develop visualizations and reports to drive quality improvement and federal compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate has proficiency in SQL, SAS, Tableau, and statistical analysis, with strong data management and communication skills for independent work

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience extracting, merging, and linking healthcare datasets including Medicaid data.
• Strong statistical and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to work independently and in teams.
