Job summary

MarshBerry, a subsidiary of Lincoln International, seeks a Data Analyst to support a growing client base through data management, reporting, and analytics in a hybrid role. You will act as a primary point of contact for 30-40 clients, administering a proprietary database and translating client information into timely, accurate outputs.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, market research, and supporting product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Prior data collection and analysis experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with financial data is a plus and familiarity with data modeling concepts is helpful.
• High level of computer proficiency including database administration and MS Office suite.

MarshBerry, a subsidiary of Lincoln International, is seeking a Data Analyst to support a growing client base through data management, reporting, and analytics. In this hybrid role, you will act as a primary point of contact for 30 to 40 clients, administering a proprietary database and translating client information into timely, accurate outputs.

What you'll do

• Serve as project manager and primary data point of contact for 30-40 assigned clients, managing data collection, formatting, and report generation on a quarterly or annual basis.
• Extract data and produce reports for special requests and other projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective support for client needs.
• Support market research, surveys, client presentations, and data analytics projects.
• Assist with product development and enhancements to MarshBerry products.
• Respond to client inquiries related to Intellectual Capital products and services.
• Develop and continually update procedures to support consistent execution.
• Provide guidance to Analysts and Consultants on accounts formatting, calculations of ratios, and related tasks.
• Train new team members and interns in Intellectual Capital processes and knowledge.
• Manage multiple priorities by keeping projects moving within the required timeframes.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, partners, and stakeholders that can support revenue generation across MarshBerry services.
• Complete special projects and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior relevant experience collecting and analyzing data is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with financial data is a plus.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts in financial services and insurance is a plus but not required.
• High level of computer and software competency, including proficiency with database administration and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner while gathering and analyzing information.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Confidentiality in handling proprietary information and client data.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with excellent spelling and grammar and good phone skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including systematic methods and the ability to recommend or create new work methods or procedures.
• Ability to multitask with extreme attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and quality control under pressure.
• Work location requirement: able to work from the Beachwood, OH office four days per week, with one flex day available to work from home.

Hybrid schedule and location

Hybrid schedule based out of the Beachwood, OH office: onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Education & experience emphasis: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (or equivalent education and experience); prior data collection and analysis experience preferred (financial data a plus). Database administration and Microsoft Office proficiency are required.
