Job summary

MarshBerry, a subsidiary of Lincoln International, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Beachwood, OH to translate complex information into actionable insights for internal teams and external clients. The role blends data stewardship, analysis, research and reporting, with opportunities to improve metrics and tools that support MarshBerry’s Intellectual Capital products.

This is a hybrid position with in-office Monday-Thursday and optional remote on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data collection, management and analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics or mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, validate and enhance proprietary MarshBerry datasets with quality and confidentiality.
• Conduct fact finding, data gathering and detailed analysis; synthesize findings into client-ready reports.
• Support internal and external client projects, benchmarking analyses and market research.
• Develop understanding of MarshBerry’s data, methodologies, products and services.
• Identify opportunities to improve data, workflows, reporting; suggest new metrics.
• Complete projects in designated timeframes using prioritization.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

MarshBerry is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst for our Beachwood, OH office. The Senior Data Analyst will translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and external clients. This role combines hands-on data stewardship, detailed analysis, research and writing, and continuous improvement of the metrics, methodologies and tools that support MarshBerry’s Intellectual Capital products and services. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, curious and client-focused, with an interest in learning deal transaction terminology and processes and private markets.

This is a hybrid position. The identified candidate will work in the office Monday through Thursday with the option to work remotely on Friday's.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, validate and enhance proprietary MarshBerry datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency, completeness and confidentiality.
• Conduct fact finding, data gathering and detailed analysis; identify trends and synthesize findings into accurate, client-ready reports, presentations and written summaries.
• Support internal and external client projects, benchmarking analyses, market research, surveys and special data requests from scoping through delivery.
• Develop a strong understanding of MarshBerry’s data, methodologies, products and services.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing data, workflows, methodologies and reporting; proactively recommend new metrics, analyses and ways to make insights more useful.
• Complete projects in desired timeframe utilizing prioritization skills to keep multiple projects progressing on target.
• Perform special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Selection Criteria

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience collecting, managing and analyzing data; prior experience in finance, investment banking or consulting is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with PowerBI is a plus.
