Job summary

RMantra Solutions is seeking a senior Data Governance Specialist to establish a comprehensive data classification, tagging, and labeling system across the DoW SAP enterprise. You will implement governance policies, assign ownership and stewardship, and ensure compliance with DoD directives, including DoDI 5200.01.

Responsibilities cover designing a data governance framework, developing data management processes, deploying security controls, evaluating tools, and creating data masking plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or HS diploma with 14 years of experience.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoW SAP experience is a bonus.

Establish a data classification and categorization system to ensure that data is appropriately protected based on its sensitivity, mission-criticality, and regulatory requirements. Manage the coordination and deployment of data tagging and labeling mechanisms to classify data across the DoW SAP enterprise. Ensure compliance with DoW policies on data classification (e.g., DoDI 5200.01 for information security classification).

Primary Responsibilities

• We are seeking a candidate with proven expertise in data tagging.
• Define clear data governance policies, including roles and responsibilities for data ownership, stewardship, and custodianship
• Design a data governance framework that outlines roles, responsibilities, processes, and policies for managing data across the DoW enterprise.
• Develop and implement a robust data management framework that ensures the integrity, accessibility, security, and compliance of data throughout its lifecycle, in accordance with DoW directives
• Implement data security controls and privacy protections to safeguard sensitive DoW data from unauthorized access, breaches, or misuse.
• Evaluate, propose, and integrate data governance tools and technologies
• Develop and standardize processes for collecting and integrating data from various sources within the DoW enterprise
• Create a detailed implementation plan for implementing data masking solutions across relevant systems and datasets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience. Otherwise, a High School Diploma with 14 years of experience
  TS/SCI
• DOW and/or DOW SAP experience is a bonus
