• Assist Lead Analysts on client engagements with data mapping, configuration, and testing in ERP environments.
• Take ownership of defined, lower-complexity workstreams under Lead Analyst guidance.
• Learn BIG's ERP platforms and delivery approach via mentoring, growing responsibility over time.
• Maintain accurate client-facing documentation and internal records.
• Participate in team knowledge sharing to preserve institutional knowledge.
• Create data specifications for multiple sources and ensure data quality.
• Work with management and users to gather requirements and provide status updates.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to improve performance or data quality.
• Develop interactive visualizations integrating data from multiple sources.
• Support data acquisition and integration using BIG’s tech stack and standards.
• Collaborate across divisions to support projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Analysts on active client engagements: data mapping, system configuration, documentation, and testing within our clients' ERP environments.
• Take ownership of well-defined, lower-complexity workstreams within larger engagements, with a Lead Analyst reviewing your work and available for questions.
• Learn BIG's core ERP platforms and delivery methodology through paired work with a Lead Analyst mentor, with the expectation of growing account-facing responsibility over time.
• Maintain clear, accurate client-facing documentation and internal delivery records.
• Participate in team check-ins and knowledge-sharing so institutional knowledge doesn't sit with any single person.
• Evaluate organizational methods and provide specification documents for multiple data sources.
• Provide quality assurance of imported data.
• Work with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
• Analyze data to answer stakeholder questions, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve business performance, efficiency, or data quality.
• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Assist with the development and implementation of data acquisition and integration processes using BIG’s established technology stack, standards, and design patterns.
• Support cross divisional collaboration.

Required Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of internship or experience mining data as a Data Analyst.
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• High level of competency in building/designing Tableau visualizations.
• Proven analytic skills: including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze metrics and create reports.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to any ERP or business-systems platform (agribusiness industry systems a plus, but not expected).
• Familiarity with basic data/reporting tools (Excel at a minimum; SQL or BI tooling a plus).
• Exposure to data engineering fundamentals; building or maintaining simple data pipelines, working with APIs, or scripting data transformations, with working knowledge of Python a plus, though not expected at this level.
• Background in agriculture preferred
