ClarityPoint Consulting is seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex datasets into actionable reporting and analysis to support decision-making. You will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other tools, and manage ETL workflows with Talend, Python, R, Bash, and SQL.

You will work across MS SQL Server, Oracle, and other SQL-based systems, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models and deliver insights

Formación

• SQL proficiency for querying complex databases (MS SQL Server / Oracle).
• Experience with BI dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and Looker.
• ETL knowledge with Talend; familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.

As a Data Analyst, you will turn complex datasets into actionable reporting and analysis to support decision-making at ClarityPoint Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to visualize key business metrics
• Own data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows using Talend, Python, R, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL to maintain data accuracy and integrity
• Work across multiple databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other SQL-based systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, convert them into technical specifications, and build scalable data models aligned with business needs
• Use Excel data analysis techniques and data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and process improvement opportunities
• Support the full SDLC in an Agile environment, including requirements analysis, design reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance of analytical solutions
• Design database schemas and optimize query management to enable efficient data retrieval; follow best practices for database design and data visualization standards
• Deliver insights through clear visualizations and reports that support strategic decision-making across the organization

Requirements

• SQL proficiency for querying complex databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other SQL-based systems
• Experience with business intelligence tools for dashboard development and reporting, including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker (or similar platforms)
• Strong ETL knowledge using Talend (or equivalent); familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Expertise in database design principles and experience managing queries to ensure efficient data processing
• Ability to analyze large datasets using Excel data analysis techniques combined with advanced analytics tools
• Understanding of SDLC in an Agile environment, including participation in project management activities
• Knowledge of linked data concepts and experience working with SQL databases; familiarity with Visio for process modeling is a plus
• Technical proficiency with Bash (Unix shell scripting), VBA automation in Excel, and visualization/reporting tools such as Looker or Power BI
• Strong business analysis skills, including translating complex requirements into technical solutions; excellent analysis skills are essential

Location & Pay

• Location: Silver Spring, MD (onsite)
• Pay: USD 11 per hourly
