Eliassen Group is seeking a Data Analyst for a remote contract role. The analyst will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions, design dashboards, and deliver BI insights while upholding data governance and quality standards.

Responsibilities include building monitoring tools for data quality, collaborating with IT on security and access controls, and driving analytics that influence business strategies. Compensation is $40.00–$45.00 per hour on a W2 basis.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with at least 2 years of data analytics experience or a Master's degree by start date.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
• Experience with a business intelligence visualization tool and data governance concepts.

Our client seeks a Data Analyst to partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions. The role will design metrics and dashboards, deliver business intelligence insights, and drive adherence to data quality management, metadata, lineage, and governance. The analyst will build monitoring tools for data quality and collaborate with technology teams on security and access controls.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $40.00 to $45.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to translate needs into tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and visualization.
• Drive analyses that yield actionable insights on business strategies.
• Promote and enforce data quality management principles including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
• Collaborate with technology teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
• Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality.

Experience Requirements

• Experience with scripting in at least one of Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
• Experience with a business intelligence visualization tool.
• Experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake services.
• Experience with AWS services preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management concepts and tools such as Informatica DQ preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with at least 2 years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s degree obtained by the start date.
• Master’s in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline preferred.
