Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions and dashboards. The role focuses on delivering BI insights, data quality governance, and secure data access with collaboration across technology teams.

The analyst will design metrics, monitor data quality, and ensure metadata lineage while supporting security and governance initiatives. This is a W2 remote-capable contract role, with benefits described for consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a quantitative field with at least 2 years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s degree by start date.
• Master’s in a STEM field preferred.
• Experience scripting in Python, R, Spark, or SQL; experience with BI visualization tools; data languages and platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake and AWS; knowledge of data governance and data quality concepts; experience with Agile/Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Our client seeks a Data Analyst to partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions. The role will design metrics and dashboards, deliver business intelligence insights, and drive adherence to data quality management, metadata, lineage, and governance. The analyst will build monitoring tools for data quality and collaborate with technology teams on security and access controls.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $40.00 to $45.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to translate needs into tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and visualization.

Experience Requirements

• Experience with scripting in at least one of Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
• Experience with a business intelligence visualization tool.
• Experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake services.
• Experience with AWS services preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management concepts and tools such as Informatica DQ preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with at least 2 years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s degree obtained by the start date.
• Master’s in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline preferred.
