Nexiva Inc in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Technology Organization and provide analytics support for senior management. You will identify data sources, validate data quality, and help on-board new feeds in collaboration with the database team.

Responsibilities include documenting data requirements, supporting metric development, guiding the visualization team, and ensuring SDLC compliance through to production.

Formación

• At least 5 years writing Python scripts to analyze data with Pandas, NumPy and related libraries.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases and reporting teams.
• Experience with AI tools to support data analysis and validation.
• Intermediate Excel skills including string functions, VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple tasks.

About the Role

Client's Technology Organization is looking for a talented, enthusiastic team member to assist us in providing data analytics support for metric development for Senior Management, In this role the Data Analyst will identify, vet, and complete data analysis on data sources that support various metrics. The role involves partnering with the database team to on-board new data feeds, complete related UAT testing, and required documentation. The position will also be responsible ensuring the data supports the metrics, identifying the dataflow, and documentation the process.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with data SMEs, data owners, and other team members to understand data requirements
• Identify and evaluate potential data sources
• Evaluate and document the data in terms of Volume, Velocity, Variety, Veracity and Value
• Write scripts to extract, transform, and analysis data from various sources
• Analysis and attest to the data's ability to support various metrics
• Document requirements for new data source or data source enhancements
• Partner with the database team to on-board new data following Technology standards and procedures
• Guide the visualization team in the usage of the data for development of metrics
• Follow the company's Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies as required
• Create required documentation to evidence the process

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of writing Python scripts to analysis data including extensive knowledge of Pandas, RE, Lambda, and NumPy
• Strong SQL Skills
• At least 5 years of proven track record data analysis
• At least 5 years of experience working with database and reporting teams
• Basic understanding of Technology controls
• Basic understanding of Technology risksIntermediate Excel skills including string manipulate functions, vlookups, and Pivot tables
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Project Management experience
• Experience with using AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to assist with data analysis and data validation

Preferred:

• Knowledge of DevOps tools and concepts
• Experience with GitHub and code deployment
• Adaptable to learning new technologies and working in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with limited direction where the individual actively with competing priorities
• Advanced SQL Skills
• Experience with Snowflake
