A Data Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of mission-driven and business-critical analytical and reporting activities at HealthWest. The Data Analyst supports clinical staff and supervisors, agency leadership, and community partners, by ensuring all stakeholders have the information needed to monitor and measure performance, improve clinical care and organizational operations, and make strategic, data-driven decisions. To accomplish this, a Data Analyst is responsible for data extraction, combining data sources, analysis, and visualization; generating datasets and reports for internal use and required external reporting; and participation in ongoing quality improvement activities. A successful Data Analyst will possess a blend of technical skills and experience, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to solve problems with curiosity and critical thinking. Work experience in the health and human services fields preferred.Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.

The purpose of this recruitment is to establish an eligible list from which to fill present and future vacancies in this classification in the County system.
