Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Data Analyst to translate product, customer, and operational data into reliable reporting and actionable insights. You’ll work with SQL-based warehouses and BI tools to build dashboards, define metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.

The role requires 0–2 years of experience, strong SQL, and hands-on BI tool experience; Python or R skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, BI, analytics, or related roles (including internships or projects)
• Strong SQL skills: joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, and basic optimization
• Hands-on experience with a BI/visualization tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Mode
• Working knowledge of Python or R for data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and repeatable reporting workflows
• Understanding of analytic fundamentals: metric design, cohort analysis, experiment interpretation, and data validation
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, math, economics, CS, business analytics, or related quantitative field
• Bonus: experience with dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Git, or automated data quality testing

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries across large relational datasets to answer business questions
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self‑service analyses in Looker, Tableau, or a similar BI platform
• Define and document metrics, dimensions, and source‑of‑truth logic with stakeholders and data engineers
• Investigate data quality issues, reconcile discrepancies, and communicate findings with clear recommendations
• Develop repeatable analysis workflows using Python, spreadsheets, or dbt to reduce manual reporting
• Analyze trends in customer behavior, product usage, revenue, and operational performance to support planning and decision making
• Present analytical findings to technical and non‑technical audiences with concise summaries and visuals

About The Role

The Data Analyst turns product, customer, and operational data into reliable reporting and clear business decisions. The role works across SQL-based warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery, BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, and modern transformation workflows built with dbt. The analyst will partner with product, operations, finance, and engineering teams to define metrics, investigate performance trends, and improve the quality of dashboards and recurring analyses. This role matters because trustworthy data is essential to prioritizing product investments, identifying issues early, and measuring business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries across large relational datasets to answer business and product questions
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analyses in Looker, Tableau, or a comparable BI platform
• Define and document metrics, dimensions, and source-of-truth logic in partnership with stakeholders and data engineers
