Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Arlington, TX team. You will develop data pipelines, perform statistical analyses, and deliver insights to drive productivity in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The role supports on-site work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with remote work Thursdays, and offers a flexible schedule. Security clearance ability to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with production-level scripting and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with AWS core services (S3, Lambda, boto3).
• Data cleaning and integration of unstructured data into structured formats.
• Data modeling for entity linking across datasets.
• Strong SQL and data processing skills.
• Dashboarding with Tableau, Databricks experience, API development basics.

Responsibilities

• Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity and enable fast decisions.
• Conducts statistical analysis for predictive forecasting and classification.
• Manages end-to-end data processing and customized report building.
• Maintains data accuracy and liaises with business, developers, and data scientists.
• Assists with leadership status reports and project progress monitoring.
• Tracks supplier tasks and manages data access and security training compliance.

Data Analyst

Location: Arlington, TX

Pay Range: $67-75/hr W2

Duration: 12 months

Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain

M, T, Wed on site, Thursday from home. Flexible schedule.

Looking for talent who are able to develop AI bots to deploy and make efficiency gains in our teams ability to identify and find trends quickly in a fast paced environment.

Summary

• Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage in an engineering setting.


• Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification.


• Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems.


• Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business. Works with technical developers and data scientists to define business outcomes and govern capabilities.


• Assist with status reports for leadership reviews.


• Assist in developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with the project manager, suppliers and the internal customer.


• Manage and track supplier task completion, provide system access based on training completion, support team efforts to ensure security levels are completed and accurate.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Python (3.10+) - production-level scripting, not just notebooks; comfortable building deterministic pipelines (ETL, linking logic, data validation)


• AWS core services - S3, Lambda, boto3.


• Data Cleaning and Data Integration -turning unstructured documents into clean


• Data modeling for entity linking - experience designing keys/joins across datasets


• SQL


• Document processing


• Dashboarding/ Tableau


• Databricks


• API development ex. FastAPI, basic frontend-backend integration

Desired Skills:

• Frontend experience (like react etc.)


• API integration


• Create stored procedures
