Job summary

Terrestrial Bio, Inc. in Woburn, MA is seeking a hands-on Data & AI leader to define the company’s data strategy, build the systems and pipelines, and drive applied AI initiatives across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and corporate teams.

You will stand up canonical data governance, lead a growing Data & AI team, and ensure regulatory data integrity in a GxP environment while coordinating with leaders across the organization. Onsite/hybrid work with relocation to Allston planned.

Qualifications

• 8 years in data/analytics leadership, ideally in biotech or regulated life sciences.
• Experience building data function from zero to a team, incl. hiring/management.
• Working fluency in regulatory context (GxP) and data integrity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data & AI roadmap and budget; align with growth and report to CEO.
• Design and implement data infrastructure: pipelines, storage, governance.
• Ratify Data Ontology Dictionary across stakeholders; resolve definitions.
• Establish data governance charter and RACI; ensure privacy and security.
• Hire, onboard, and manage the Data & AI team.
• Oversee integration of MES, ERP, and ELN systems against a single data model.
• Oversee AI agented pipelines bridging Google Drive and SharePoint.
• Develop applied-AI governance suitable for a GxP-regulated environment.
• Manage vendor relationships and RFPs for data-critical systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.
• Communicate strategy and progress to executive leadership and Board.
