Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Manager, Data and AI Operations to lead 24/7 production data support across Delta’s analytic environments. You will oversee data loading jobs, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and platforms like Teradata, Databricks, and Snowflake, guiding a global team across the US and India to deliver reliable data operations and cost efficiency.

You’ll mentor staff, set objectives, manage multiple projects, and partner with Directors, Managers, and engineers to align data operations

Qualifications

• Minimum humanos: Bachelor’s degree or higher; Advanced degree preferred in Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; experience managing data operations teams and cross-functional partners.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data ecosystems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of data loading processes across data/AI platforms (EDW, data lakes, AI/ML, ETL, BI, streaming).
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across US and India for 24/7 support.
• Oversee AWS-based cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and operations; monitor service levels and cost.
• Collaborate with Directors, Managers, and engineers to deliver aligned data solutions.
• Review and approve group changes; support Enterprise Change Management.
• Stay current with industry trends and promote best practices.
