Job summary

Blackbaud is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect for Data & AI to define and govern the enterprise-wide data architecture critical for our SaaS platform growth. This role, requiring over 15 years of experience, will collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to translate business strategies into actionable data initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience in designing cloud-scale data solutions, expertise in AI architecture, and excellent communication skills, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with 10+ years in enterprise architecture focused on data.
• Proven ability to design enterprise-scale data platforms in cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in AI-enabled system architecture, particularly ML and Generative AI.
• Familiarity with data governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Agile and Lean delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data and AI architecture vision.
• Partner with product teams to embed AI/ML capabilities.
• Create and enforce standards for data platforms and analytics.
• Translate business objectives into data and AI capabilities.
• Guide cloud-native data architectures across SaaS stacks.
