Job summary

Programmers.io in Austin is seeking an AI engineer with strong experience deploying models and hosting them on UI interfaces like Streamlit and React. The role focuses on building ETL pipelines, Snowflake data structures, and Tableau reports, with Python-driven automation to optimize processes.

You will collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, develop data science pipelines, and maintain ML models for development and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the required technologies and 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• Responsibilities include developing ETL pipelines, designing Snowflake data structures, creating Tableau reports, and identifying process automation opportunities using Python.
• The individual will work three days per week from the Austin office.
• The candidate will work closely with the Operations team, as well as data scientists and software engineers, on Python-based applications, machine learning models, and optimization solutions that support both development and operational activities.
• The candidate will also collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements and build the corresponding data science pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines and design Snowflake data structures for reporting.
• Create Tableau reports and dashboards to support business users.
• Identify opportunities for automation using Python across data processes.
• Contribute to Python-based applications and ML models for development and operations.
