Job summary

RPL International is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, deploy, and monitor AI-powered solutions within a centralized data environment. You will focus on taking AI use cases from business requirements through development to production, leveraging Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark with strong Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.

Our client is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join a growing technology team and help build, deploy, and monitor AI-powered solutions using a centralized enterprise data environment. This is a newly created position and an opportunity to play a key role in establishing and scaling the organization’s AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Snowflake Cortex, and Snowpark, along with solid Python and SQL skills. The role is highly focused on taking AI use cases from business requirements through development and into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and monitor AI/ML solutions within the Snowflake environment.
• Leverage Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark to develop AI applications and use cases.
• Translate business requirements and process flows into scalable technical solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve processes, automation, and decision‑making.
• Participate in data centralization efforts and help ensure datasets are structured and prepared for AI applications.
• Build and support AI workflows, applications, and integrations using Python and SQL.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI solutions after deployment.
• Support and enhance existing AI applications running in AWS ECS container environments.
• Collaborate closely with data, analytics, and technology professionals to develop new AI capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture, development standards, testing, deployment, and observability practices.

Required Qualifications

• Hands‑on professional experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex and/or Snowpark.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with enterprise data.
• Experience taking AI solutions from development into production.
• Experience working with cloud‑based technologies and containerized applications.
• AWS ECS experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, system design, and production deployment.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.

Preferred Background

The ideal candidate may come from either:

• A software engineering/development background who has transitioned into AI/ML; or
• A highly specialized Snowflake/AI engineering background with significant production experience.

We are looking for someone who has built and deployed real‑world solutions, rather than someone whose experience is limited primarily to academic projects, internships, or coursework.
