Gilead Sciences Inc. seeks an Associated Director Data & AI Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end AI/ML solutions for Clinical Development. The role bridges business needs with technical execution, delivering scalable AI solutions across data management, safety and regulatory domains.

You will lead hybrid teams, ensure code quality, architecture decisions and runbooks, and report to the Data/AI, Clinical Development Lead. Raleigh, NC, hybrid-eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI/ML delivery programs in Agile environments.
• Hands-on data engineering, data science, or architecture.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of clinical development (trial ops, data management, safety) preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery including timelines and technical quality of Clinical Development AI use cases.
• Apply product-centric approach with clear ownership and adoption metrics.
• Manage Agile delivery including sprint planning and releases.
• Lead hybrid technical delivery teams with internal and external experts.
• Define and enforce technical standards for AI/ML and data pipelines.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement toward targets.
