Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking an AI Data Science Lead to accelerate AI/ML initiatives across Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing and Tech Ops. You will drive AI-enabled solutions, partner with product owners and architects, and mentor junior data scientists.

The role focuses on Master Data Management, regulatory alignment (GxP), and scalable data solutions across development lifecycles. Hybrid work is available in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, data science and/or computer science with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM testing, or AI model experimentation.
• Ability to design AI-enabled solutions and translate business logic into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute prompt engineering strategies for AI model performance.
• Lead end-to-end AI/ML solutions across PDM and Tech Ops use cases.
• Serve as SME in AI model design, feature engineering, and solution architecture.
• Support PDM Master Data Management needs.
• Document current-state workflows and translate into AI-ready problem definitions.
