Job summary
Seadrill Limited is seeking a senior leader to head Data, BI, and Digital Innovation, transforming operational data into decision-ready insights. You will govern analytics programs, guide platform migration to modern lakehouse architectures, and champion Foundry AI and Azure AI/ML platforms across Finance, HR, and Operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in Data, BI, or analytics with 3+ years in leadership overseeing teams or programs.
- Strong foundation in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling concepts; familiarity with SQL Server components.
- Demonstrated delivery of AI/automation or digital-innovation initiatives; knowledge of Fabric, Azure AI/ML, and Foundry capabilities.
- Experience directing MSP vendors and outsourced delivery partners; able to manage accountability and relationships.
- Ability to translate strategy into an analytics roadmap; experience with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Operations leaders.
- Data governance expertise; knowledge of Purview for cataloguing, lineage, and compliance at scale.
- Proven ability to set ambitious goals; strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills; MS Excel and Agile/DevOps proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own the BI/analytics platform (Power BI, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, Microsoft Fabric) and data products for Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and offshore Operations; oversee migration to Fabric Lakehouse.
- Execute the data and AI roadmap, prioritizing AI/automation use cases with Foundry AI and Azure AI/ML; translate business strategy into analytics delivery plans.
- Direct delivery of reporting and dashboards via MSP vendors; set technical standards and ensure Agile/DevOps delivery with governance benchmarks.
- Establish data governance, quality, and architecture standards; implement Microsoft Purview for cataloguing, lineage, and compliance.
- Identify and pilot emerging technologies (AI, automation, Gen AI) using Foundry AI and Azure services; scale proofs-of-concept into production.
- Partner with business functions to prioritize high-value analytics and measure realized benefits.
- Manage delivery pipeline, intake prioritization, and stakeholder expectations across vendors; collaborate with BU leaders to align analytics investments.
