Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a mid-level dashboard developer to turn complex data into actionable insights for defense customers at Scott Air Force Base. You will build dashboards and analytics, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply ML techniques as appropriate.

You will mentor teammates, design ETL pipelines, and present findings to senior leadership. Requires 2+ years in data science or analytics, active Secret clearance, and a BA/BS.

Qualifications

The mid-level dashboard developer works with data-rich environments to turn complex data into valuable information. This role supports the defense industry by collaborating with customers to understand questions, explore data, and develop dashboards and analytics that inform decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and data visualizations to present insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities; apply algorithms and machine learning techniques as appropriate.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines to transform and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks; hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Spark.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL pipelines; experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced programming skills in Python for data processing and analytics.
• Ability to present insights effectively to senior leadership and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities in a matrix environment.
• Experience integrating structured and unstructured datasets for actionable insights.
