Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a System Performance Engineer to support the Arizona/New Mexico Desert market. The role requires RF engineering, DAS, and Small Cell experience plus travel within the region.

You will ensure installed systems meet CTS and customer standards and contractual obligations. The position is full-time with benefits and opportunities to work with a leading integrator in in-building wireless, 4G/5G private networks, and SDLAN fiber-to-the-edge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3–5 years RF Engineering, In-Building DAS, RAN or Small Cell with RF math competency.
• Advanced knowledge of RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Demodulator, Cable Analyzer, Power Meters, Scanners, UEs).
• Ability to complete RF Link Budgets, Power Sharing and Noise Figure Calculations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and iBwave design files.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel region with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Onsite technical implementation and troubleshooting of In-Building DAS and managed networks.
• Perform pre/post RF benchmark data collection and analysis.
• Interface with CTS operations to ensure high-quality builds.
• Conduct CW testing, spectrum analysis, segment and system sweeps, PIM and OTDR testing as required.
• Perform DAS maintenance including fault analysis and interference mitigation.
• Respond to Technical Trouble Tickets and support NOC; some after-hours work may be required to meet SLA.
