Position Duties

Assistance with High level technical skills and expertise with SOUND ANALYSIS for MARINE SCIENCE AAs, under the direction of the DAS student, may assist with the manipulation of lab materials and with the completion of in-class assignments. AAs may also assist the student with navigating the classroom/lab environment. All information about the actual course and lab processes and procedures are the student's responsibility. Tasks performed are to assist a blind student in navigating.

Content Knowledge for FW 507.800 - MARINE SCIENCE (N) (10520) Ability to commute to Newport on Thursdays - R at 3:30 PM - 4:20 PM in Newport (HMSC) Session: 9/23/26 - 12/04/26 This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self‑report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard 125-155-0200) as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq Preferred Prior experience working with individuals who are low vision/Blind or individuals with limited fine motor skills. The ability to assist with Research for FW 603.036
