Job summary

HCI Systems in the United States is seeking DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Designers to design and draft DAS/ERRCS shop drawings, perform RF modeling, and prepare technical submittals. Ideal candidates will collaborate with project teams to ensure code-compliant, high-quality designs across commercial, multi-family, and healthcare facilities, while maintaining design libraries and documentation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, knowledge of NFPA/AHJ requirements, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Experience designing DAS and ERRCS shop drawings.
• Familiarity with NFPA 1221/1225 and AHJ requirements.
• Experience with RF modeling tools such as iBwave.
• Certifications such as iBwave Level 1–3, GROL or NICET preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing and/or drafting complete DAS and ERRCS shop drawings for multi-family, high-rise, military, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
• Conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, link budget creation, and predictive coverage analysis using industry-standard tools.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Account Executives to complete accurate DAS designs and submittals.
• Prepare documentation required by AHJs including RF test plans, grid testing documentation, commissioning reports, and product data sheets.
• Manage and update engineering libraries including job folders, equipment manuals, and templates.
• Coordinate designs with electrical engineers, GCs, low-voltage trades, RF vendors, and building owners.
