Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc seeks skilled DAS Designers to design and generate DAS/ERRCS shop drawings, perform RF modeling, and prepare technical submittals and closeout documents.

Responsibilities include creating complete DAS/ERRCS shop drawings for multi-family and commercial facilities, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring code compliance with AHJs. Strong AutoCAD and iBwave experience are required.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit preferred.
• Familiar with NFPA 1221/1225, AHJ codes, FCC rules.
• Experience with RF modeling tools like iBwave.
• RF/telecom certifications (iBwave levels, GROL, NICET) preferred.
• MS Office, Bluebeam and related design software proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft DAS and ERRCS shop drawings for multi-family, high-rise, military, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
• Conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, link budget, and predictive coverage analysis.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and closeout documents.
• Coordinate designs with engineers, GCs, and vendors.
• Read blueprints, RF reports, site surveys, specs, schematics.
• Manage engineering libraries and templates.
• Apply CAD/BIM standards to shop drawings.
• Identify out-of-scope work and design gaps.
• Respond to RFI-related items in a timely manner.
