Job summary

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) Engineering Team in Philadelphia. This role covers operation, maintenance, and installation of DAS programs in a hands-on, in-office environment.

Responsibilities include planning, pre-installation preparation, troubleshooting, and documentation. Ideal candidates have US citizenship with a Secret clearance and related technical training.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to start.
• HS + 3 years related experience or AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline with 1 year of related experience.
• Comfortable working within electrical equipment, including low and medium voltage switchboards, generators, transformers, and load centers.
• Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment, not less than 30 lbs.
• Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Reviews and redlines schematics, engineering drawings and written instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs terminations, runs wiring and installs conduit.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
