Job summary

Josh’s Frogs is seeking a part-time Dart Frog Husbandry Technician to support our Dart Frog Division in Owosso, MI. You will care for dart frogs, tadpoles, and tadpole systems, and record data to support breeding programs.

The role is 24 hours per week (Tue, Thu, Fri, 8 AM to 4:30 PM) with starting wage of $16.00/hour. This position offers growth opportunities within Josh’s Frogs and a teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess interest in research and data.
• Must possess ability to follow biosecurity protocol.
• Must have basic technological experience.
• Must have interest in dart frogs and herpetology.

Responsibilities

• Feeding, cleaning, and managing health of dart frogs tadpoles and tadpole systems.
• Following biosecurity protocols.
• Adding tadpoles to new enclosures while recording data via handwritten labels.
• Cleaning and organizing work areas to maintain a biosecure and clean work environment.
