Job summary

Hopelink is seeking a Fleet Vehicle Detailer in Kent, WA to thoroughly clean and detail buses and vehicles, inside and out, using proper PPE.

You will participate in training and later work a rotating schedule, with overtime possible but not guaranteed, and you will contribute to safety and quality standards while supporting transit service for the community.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in vehicle detailing/cleaning.
• Safety motivated, thorough and detail oriented.
• Ability to complete task logs.
• Have reliable transportation to meet service critical attendance requirements.
• Must have a valid Washington State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly and systematically disinfect all interior and some external surfaces of buses and vehicles.
• Thoroughly wash the exterior of vehicles to remove debris and dirt.
• Clean vehicle windows inside and out.
• Vacuum the interior of buses and vehicles.
• Participate as a contributing member of the DART team with the common goal of safety.

Title: Fleet Vehicle Detailer

Location: Hopelink Transportation Yard in Kent, WA

• Training (3 weeks): Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• After Training: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

The career opportunity:

The Fleet Vehicle Detailer ensures that all interior & exterior surfaces of buses and vehicles are sanitized, washed and detailed using proper personal protective equipment (PPE). This position may require some overtime, but overtime is not guaranteed. Detailers provide automotive interior & exterior cleaning services that meet company or client specifications.

How you will be compensated: Hopelink is proud to provide meaningful paid time away from work and an affordable, comprehensive benefits package.

• Compensation:$21.00/hour
• Up to 10 paid vacation and sick days annually and 10 paid holidays,
• Plus up to 7 paid float days available to use immediately; dependent on hire date and hours/week
