Job summary

Simmons is seeking workers for the dark meat production line on a rotating basis, performing roles such as hanger, trimmer, styler, bone trimmer, labeler, and stacker.

As a member of the team, you will participate in ongoing development and communicate improvements, while adhering to Simmons’ operating systems, quality, and LEAN principles. The role involves physically demanding tasks in a cold production environment and requires reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food processing facility is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 10 hours per shift.
• Military experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform dark meat department positions on a rotating basis (hanger, trimmer, styler, bone trimmer, labeler, stackers).
• Collaborate with the team to ensure coordination, communication, and adherence to team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Identify and communicate issues to team leader and work on improvements to achieve synergy.
