Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associates accepted or 3+ years of experience in lieu.
• Knowledge of the community, culture, and values of the people/language interpreted.
• Ability to obtain local, regional, or national credentials/licensure as applicable.
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance and customer service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate on-site, online, and phone interpreting across varied settings.
• Interpret between English and target language accurately and clearly.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethics and applicable standards.
• Represent Hands Up Communications professionally in all interactions.
• Coordinate with scheduling staff and complete reporting as required.

Education
