Job summary

Welocalize is seeking a Tech Linguistic Tester to proofread and edit localized content in your native language, ensure grammar and style, and sometimes translate from English. You will also check UIs for functional issues and report defects using client bug tracking tools.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, native-level fluency, strong English, 3+ years of localization experience, and familiarity with Android/iOS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Native-level or bilingual fluency in required language(s).
• Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
• 3+ years professional translation & localization experience.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Write and report bugs and errors using internal database system.
• Prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently.
• Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in the target language.
