• High expectations of students and understanding of child development.

Responsibilities

• Teach the QCACS curriculum using Board-approved resources.
• Demonstrate the ability to teach multiple dance styles for all levels.
• Develop dance curriculum and engaging lesson plans.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach goals.
• Choreograph routines and select music for school performances.
• Provide a creative environment where students express themselves.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learner needs.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams on strategies for success.
