Job summary

The Washington Ballet is seeking a Company Manager in Washington, DC for a fully on-site position. This role acts as the primary liaison for artists, coordinating schedules, travel, and health matters for dancers, choreographers, designers, and guest artists.

You will work across Artistic and Production teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with CBAs. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ company management experience in a similar size organization, strong budgeting and

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Company Management experience in a performing arts organization.
• Experience with AGMA, IATSE, USA, AFM CBAs and visa processing.
• Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and calendar coordination across departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute dancer schedules, ensuring compliance with policies and CBAs.
• Serve as liaison between dancers, management, AGMA and relevant departments.
• Coordinate travel, housing, per diems and visa/documentation for artists.
• Manage payroll for dancers, Studio Company and guest artists.
• Assist in contract preparation, negotiation and production paperwork.
• Organize auditions and support casting, with collaboration from Marketing.
• Oversee dancer health, wellness coordination and OSHA-related duties.
• Maintain artist guides, manuals, and up-to-date payroll and budget records.
