Job summary

The Washington Ballet is seeking a Company Manager to serve as primary liaison for artists and to support artistic, production, and scheduling needs across departments. This on-site role requires coordinating dancer health, payroll, visa processing, contracts, and travel arrangements.

Candidate should have 3+ years in company management within performing arts, experience with CBAs (AGMA/IATSE/USA/AFM), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of company management experience in a performing arts environment.
• Experience with union CBAs including AGMA, IATSE, USA, AFM.
• Experience with contract preparation, negotiation, execution, and visa processing.
• Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute dancer schedules including rehearsals, performances, fittings, and events.
• Serve as liaison between dancers, studio company, and management, ensuring CBA compliance.
• Facilitate dancer health, wellness, and workers' compensation coordination.
• Coordinate payroll and employment documentation for non-US personnel.
• Manage visa procurement and compliance for incoming artists.
• Support artistic, production, and budgeting needs across departments.
• Assist in contracts for artistic and production staff and plan events.
