Job summary

South Bend Community School Corporation seeks a Coach for ES Raptor Dance (West) for the 2025-2026 school year. This part-time role will work under the Athletics Department to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions and foster sportsmanship and growth among participants.

The position offers a $300 stipend, with opportunities to gain coaching experience, contribute to the community, and develop leadership and mentorship skills within SBCSC athletic programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in the sport is preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate training sessions under the Athletics Department.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive team environment.
• Communicate with participants, parents, and staff about progress and schedules.
• Monitor and assess participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure safety and well-being during practices and activities.
• Assist with coordinating team events and community outreach.
