Job summary

Smilebuilderz LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry team. The ideal candidate holds current DANB certification, Pennsylvania radiology certification, and CPR/BLS, to support the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care.

You will chairside assist across general procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take radiographs, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• DANB certification is required.
• PA radiology certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting for general dentistry procedures including restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, endodontics, and preventive services.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with impressions, temporaries, and digital scanning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients.
• Manage inventory and maintain organized clinical areas.
• Support smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
