WuXi Biologics is seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement to spearhead the deployment of operational excellence tools across its European and U.S. manufacturing sites. This strategic leader will champion the principles of Lean, Innovation, and Growth, implementing a customized business system modeled after the Danaher Business System (DBS). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of business system frameworks, be hands-on in execution, and capable of influencing culture at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and embed a business system framework (modeled on DBS) across European operations, with support extended to North America and Asia.

- Collaborate with leadership to create, implement, and sustain a site-level continuous improvement roadmap.

- Facilitate targeted cost-reduction and productivity-enhancement initiatives across key departments.

- Provide training on business system tools and continuous improvement practices.

- Coach teams during on-site improvement events to drive outcomes.

- Monitor KPIs and ensure cross-functional alignment.

- Lead root cause analyses and waste elimination initiatives.

- Serve as Process Owner for selected tools and scale initiatives.

- Benchmark external practices and refine internal standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.

- Minimum 15 years of experience

- Mandatory successful experience with the Danaher Business System (DBS) or similar framework.

- Proven success in Lean transformations.

- Expertise in Kaizen, RCA, Hoshin Planning, and CI methodologies.

- Strong strategic, communication, and facilitation skills.

- Familiarity with biologics manufacturing preferred.

- Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally.
