Job summary

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is seeking a DAMS Assistant to support the ongoing management of the Digital Asset Management System in Cleveland. Under the mentorship of the Digital Asset Manager, you will gain hands-on experience with museum collections and metadata work.

This part-time role offers exposure to diverse assets, collaboration across divisions, and opportunities to develop training materials and knowledgebase content.

Qualifications

• Experience with asset or collections management software is a plus.
• Familiarity with descriptive metadata following standards.
• Understanding of copyright and intellectual property rights.
• Knowledge of digital preservation concepts and best practices.
• Awareness of archival arrangement and description.

Responsibilities

• Improve asset discoverability through enhanced descriptive metadata
• Provide user support and training
• Maintain and update the DAMS knowledgebase
• Participates in cross-departmental meetings and collaborative projects
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders
