Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience in heavy machinery operation.
• Valid drivers license
• Criminal background and driving record check required.
• Willingness to obtain CDL-A within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders/backhoes, bulldozers and heavy trucks for dam construction and maintenance.
• Fabricate and assemble wood formwork for concrete structures and install steel reinforcements.
• Perform repairs and mechanical work on heavy equipment including engines, brakes and hydraulic systems.
• Supervise crew and train personnel in basic construction tasks and dam maintenance.
• Read engineered drawings and use surveying tools for site layout and grading.
• Respond to dam and flooding emergencies as required.
