Job summary

Annaly Capital Management, Inc. is seeking a Portfolio Management Associate to oversee Onslow Bay’s mortgage servicing rights assets and subservicers. This role reports to the Director of Portfolio Management and supports ownership and management of investment assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• 3-10 years of experience in mortgage servicing.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify trends and/or anomalies.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Senior Management about progress and results.
• Knowledge of data structures and SQL query construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly audits and reviews of sub servicer to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Identify process gaps, trends, or deficiencies and recommend corrective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GSE performance standards.
• Ensure sub servicer has adequate controls to meet/exceed performance targets.
• Establish performance targets that support portfolio performance.
• Manage sub servicer capacity to ensure adequate staffing for business goals.
• Work with Financial operations to reconcile advances and fees.
• Maintain default management practices including collection, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, escrow, and REO processes.
• Ensure investor reporting and accounting accuracy.
• Ensure claims management process is effective and recovers all available dollars for investor and firm.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including CFPB.
• Manage customer complaints and collaborate with internal teams to meet goals.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages relating to portfolio performance by sub servicer and portfolio.
