Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services, via Rehab Without Walls Neurorehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time, salaried role in Dallas, TX. This position emphasizes client-centered, functional therapy with in-person 1:1 sessions, plus options for indirect documentation from home.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in OT, state licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of neurorehabilitation experience, with a collaborative team and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving or transferring patients may involve up to 100 pounds.
• Physical requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, and prolonged walking/standing.
• Pre-employment health screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess and adjust treatment plans; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and optimize patient outcomes.
