Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neurorehab in Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a PRN/Part Time Occupational Therapist to deliver 1:1 functional rehabilitation across home, work, and community settings. You’ll evaluate, plan, and implement treatment with autonomy while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

This role offers a flexible schedule, paid hourly wages, no weekend shifts, and opportunities for growth, with documentation and communication supported from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the practicing state.
• CPR Certification is current.
• At least one year of OT work experience.
• Neurological rehab knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and improve outcomes.

Provide 1:1 functional rehabilitation to adult clients where real-life happens—at home, work, and throughout the community. What you will do:

Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members.
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

What you will need:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing.
• Current CPR Certification.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
