Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Market Manager, Fleet Mobile Maintenance for the Dallas area. This in-person, founding-team role blends operations leadership with product mindset, guiding a high-performing technician team and driving multi-unit profitability while shaping scalable service experiences for fleet customers.

You will partner across Sales and Product to translate customer needs into improvements, build operational playbooks, and maintain a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• 10–15 years of experience leading maintenance operations with a mix of technical and customer-facing responsibility.
• Minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing role (e.g., dealership, maintenance shop, fleet maintenance provider).
• Working knowledge of commercial truck maintenance: HD/MD repair, preventive maintenance programs, DOT compliance, and parts supply chain dynamics.
• Demonstrated direct P&L ownership; understanding of profit levers and ability to act on operational data.
• Background in commercial fleet maintenance or field service operations, either as a practitioner or in an adjacent management role.
• Familiarity with field service technology platforms: scheduling, mobile technician tools, and repair order management.
• Strong customer relationship skills: earn trust, handle difficult conversations, and grow accounts.
• Experience operating in a startup or early-stage environment with evolving operating model.
• Proven ability to recruit, build, and retain a skilled technician team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: move fast, take ownership, and build structure where none exists.
• Willingness to travel; full attendance is essential.
• Compliance with background check and drug screening requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop technicians and support team; hire, onboard, schedule, and manage performance.
• Grow revenue by strengthening customer relationships and driving new business with Sales.
• Run safe, reliable maintenance operations with safe practices and accurate documentation.
• Manage a multi-million-dollar P&L; optimize pricing and control costs against targets.
• Improve the mobile service product by capturing field insights and feeding into product/process improvements.
• Partner with Product and Operations to translate field observations into actionable enhancements.
